Internship students aged 19-21 will be mentored as part of the OzTheatrics team and collaborate with the creatives who present the Broadway JR. title in Atlanta, building their capacity as future directors, choreographers and vocal coaches.

 

Specific skills are required to successfully tell a story through musical theatre, especially when you only have 15 minutes of stage time. Our internship program will allow invited participants to learn from professional directors, choreographers and musical directors in a collaborative environment whilst developing the knowledge of efficient rehearsal processes and build their capacity as a creative practitioner.

 

Interns will travel with The Aussie All Stars to the USA in January where they will work alongside the professional direction team in New York City before heading to Atlanta for the Junior Theatre Festival where they will participate in the teacher professional development tracks. To finish the tour off, interns will accompany the group to Universal Studios and Disneyland in California for performance workshops.
